This was a fun cake to do. I made the booties from some baby shoe inserts my mom saved for me. I had to leave early so hopefully it tasted good! ;o)

Where it all began
It all started with my oldest son's 1st birthday cake - a baseball. After a couple more (lame) attempts at some birthday cakes I realized I didn't know enough to make the cakes I wanted to be able to make. Plus, I thought it would be fun to carry on my mom's skills for my kids so they would have fun cakes like we had growing up. So, a lot of practice and two Wilton classes later, here I am making wedding cakes, birthday cakes and cakes for other special occasions.

Ooooh! You didn't tell me you did a cake! I happened upon this as I was bragging to my friends at work and I LOVE this cake!!! So adorable! And I love the pink with the green accents....love it. Well done
